Council Member, Steve R. Porter


Council Member Porter was elected to a two-year term as Single Member District One. Steve and his wife Nancy moved to Sugar Land from Houston over 38 years ago to raise their family. They have lived in District 1 for all that time. They have four sons, three daughters-in-law, and seven grandchildren. Steve retired as a Global Information Systems Project Manager after close to 40 years with ExxonMobil Corporation. Both Steve and Nancy have and continue to be actively involved in the community they care about.
