Thieves Caught on Camera Stealing Purse

Sugar Land, TX – Sugar Land police are looking for two women seen on surveillance video stealing a purse in Burlington Coat Factory, 13521 University Blvd., on Oct. 30.


A woman shopping in the store placed her purse down at about 11:30 a.m. and forgot to pick it up when she walked away.  Surveillance video shows a woman pushing a cart with a baby approach the purse 6 minutes later. A second woman joins her, and they take the purse.


The purse contained a wallet, mobile phone, credit cards and other personal identification.


The suspects are described as white females between 25-35 years old.  One had her hair dyed red and was wearing a pink shirt. The other had blonde hair and was wearing a white shirt and black jacket.
