Sugar Land, TX – Hop on over to Eldridge Park on Saturday, March 24 for a chance to meet the legendary Easter Bunny during city of Sugar Land’s 34th Annual EGGStravaganza from noon to 3 p.m. Don’t miss this chance to participate in an EGGcellent event!
Be sure to arrive in plenty of time for the “Egg Scrambles” (egg hunts) where kids scramble to collect as many eggs as possible in a short amount of time. There will be five separate egg zones: the kiddie egg hunt for children 2 and under; scrambles for ages 3-5, 6-8, 9-12; and a special needs area predominantly for children with vision or mobility impairments. The egg-hunt area for children with special needs will have beeping eggs available for children who are blind or visually impaired. This area is also a quiet egg hunt area great for children with sensory-processing issues who need a quieter environment. Each area will run continuously throughout the event while supplies last.
While not scrambling for eggs, be sure to check out the Sugar Land Express Trackless Train ride, the petting zoo and sponsored activity booths. Other activities will include the popular photo wall and DJ entertainment. Don’t forget to visit the Easter Bunny for a chance to take a traditional bunny photo! The first 200 families will receive free printed pictures with the Easter Bunny.
Admission and activities are free and open to the general public. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
