Sugar Land, TX - Staff at the T.E. Harman Senior Center invite all medical centers, Medicare services, group homes, elderly care services, cancer centers and other health and wellness related groups to participate as a vendor in the City’s annual Senior Pink Walk and Health Fair on Oct. 12, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the T.E. Harman Center, 226 Matlage Way, next to Imperial Park Recreation Center.
The event is being held as part of Breast Cancer Awareness month, which is just around the corner.
The health fair offers an opportunity for businesses to showcase what their organization can offer to the senior adults in the Sugar Land community. The fair also provides an opportunity for adults 50 and older, who are not computer savvy, to learn how organizations can help with issues and/or concerns they may have.
The Pink Walk and Health Fair is open to members of the T.E. Harman Center and City of Sugar Land employees. T.E. Harman Center members can sign up to participate for $5 per person. Each participant will receive a free t-shirt, and the first 100 members to sign up will receive free breakfast.
To participate, e-mail the T.E. Harman Center at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (281) 275-2893.
