Municipal Pool at City Park

The Municipal Pool at City Park is 25 yards long and ranges from 3-12 feet in depth. The pool has two 1-meter diving boards. Originally built in 1967, The Municipal Pool is home to the Sugar Land Sharks swim team.

2021 Pool Season

Pool Season at the Municipal Pool generally begins Memorial Day weekend and lasts through Labor Day weekend. Except for Memorial Day and Labor Day, the Municipal Pool is closed on Mondays for maintenance.

Pool Fees*

There are now 3 pool fee options, depending on how often you plan on visiting. All options allow for payment with either cash or credit card.

Annual Passes and Punch Passes may be purchased at the Imperial Park Recreation Center (IPRC). IPRC operating hours are Mon-Fri 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sat 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Option 1: Annual Pool Pass (unlimited usage for one summer)

Residents:
Ages 3 years & up: $10 per pass

Non-Residents:
Ages 3 years & up: $20 per pass

Option 2: Punch Pass (4 visits/punches)

Residents:
Ages 3-12 years: $6 per pass
Ages 13 years & up: $12 per pass

Non-Residents:
Ages 3-12 years: $16 per pass
Ages 13 years & up: $20 per pass

Option 3: Daily Pass (pay at the gate)

Residents:
Ages 3-12 years: $1.50 per day
Ages 13 years & up: $3.00 per day

Non-Residents:
Ages 3-12 years: $2.00 per day
Ages 13 years & up: $4.00 per day

*Pool entry is free for children under 3 years of age.
