Council Member Donald L. Smithers
In May 2009, Donald L. Smithers was elected to a two-year term as Single Member District One.
Don has lived in Covington Woods since 1976 with his wife Merle of 53 plus years.
Don retired from Southwestern Bell as Manager – Engineering Design in 1991. He worked for Cobb, Fendley and Associates for 11 years.
