50th Anniversary Vendor Merchandise Opportunities!
Interested in helping the City celebrate its landmark 50th Anniversary this year and have some ideas on unique merchandise you would like to produce and sell?
The City of Sugar Land is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2009. Because of numerous requests, the City is very interested in partnering with businesses who may want to participate in the year-long celebrations by producing and marketing unique 50th Anniversary merchandise. An official trademarked 50th Anniversary logo has been created to commemorate the event and is available to be used on approved items for a $500 vendor fee. The application is available online by clicking this link or you may call our Communications Department at 281-275-2216 and we will be happy to email or fax you a copy. The process for approval is as follows:
- Submit an application with a sketch and/or prototype of the product, example of materials and printing to be used.
- City staff and 50th Anniversary Citizen Committee members will review. More information may be requested during the review.
- If approved, submit a check or money order for $500 vendor fee, either mailed or paid in person at City Hall.
- Approvals will be within 5 business days.
- Once payment is submitted, 50th Anniversary logo files will be provided.
All vendor fees will be used to offset the costs associated with the commissioning of the 50th Anniversary Commemorative Bronze Art Sculpture. It will be located in the foyer of City Hall and unveiled at a special 50th Anniversary end of year event.
