We love our residents in Sugar Land and what really makes our heart sing is when they love us back – and even better – when they love each other! For Valentine’s Day, we wanted to highlight and share some of the sweet love stories we found right outside City Hall in Sugar Land Town Square. We found family love, new love – they’d only been together a couple of days! -- and even lovers reunited during a military leave. Read their stories below.

"I grew up in Sugar Land, he grew up in Missouri City but we met in Sugar Land in church. I don’t think I would’ve ever met him had it not been for Sugar Land. We grew up together in church. We just started dating a couple of days ago. We’ve known each other for years.”

Camilo: “I’m in the Marines, and I’m on leave right now and she’s here to visit. We were like “we want some breakfast” so we decided to come to Jupiter.”
Caitlin: “It’s actually really cute around here. We literally just came here for breakfast but we saw how nice it was out here so we just decided to stay and lay on the ground.
“I love living here with my family. That’s the love here. This is going to be our third year living here. It’s me and my husband and our two daughters. My youngest, Catalina, was born in Sugar Land. I love how there is always constant activities that I can bring my daughters to. It’s very family-oriented. I love the community – it’s always so safe and I feel like it’s always happy."
