This Fourth of July, Celebrate Red, White and Boom in Sugar Land

Sugar Land, TX - There’s a new look and new feel for one of Sugar Land’s largest community events -- Red, White and Boom.

The city’s Fourth of July celebration is taking place at The Crown Festival Park, 18355 Southwest Freeway, on July 4, from 4-10 p.m. with the largest fireworks show Sugar Land has seen.  The event is sponsored by Bud Light, and fireworks will be launched at approximately 9:40 p.m.

With the city’s new Entercom Radio partners -- including radio stations Mix 96.5, 100.3 The Bull, 95.7 The Spot and Mega 101 FM -- the Red, White and Boom event will be larger than ever before.

This year’s event will highlight patriotic family fun with activities for all to enjoy coupled with great food and a variety of music. Festive entertainment and activities will include a children’s zone complete with fun photo opportunities, face painting, a variety of information stations and a main stage area featuring local talent.

Houston rock band, The Foo Fakers, will take the stage along with country’s latest and greatest, the Hayden Baker Band. The bands will be joined by special guest appearances, an onsite DJ and an emcee who will keep the fun going until the fireworks finale.

The event will conclude with a dazzling fireworks display. Be sure to visit 95.7 The Spot to download the free app for the soundtrack to the fireworks.

Numerous food and drink options will be available at concession areas and food trucks sponsored by Spectrum Catering.

Red, White and Boom is free and open to the public. Free tickets will be required and will not be available on the day of the event.  Hurry and get the free tickets by visiting before capacity limits are met.

Due to limited onsite parking, attendees are encouraged to take the shuttle to avoid traffic delays. Shuttle services are available at various off-site parking locations including Smart Financial Centre at Sugar Land, 18111 Lexington Blvd., Mercer Stadium, 16403 Lexington Blvd., and University of Houston at Sugar Land, 14000 University Blvd. Ride-sharing and taxis are also welcomed.
