A Sweet Jamboree Bash is Taking Over The Sugar Land Heritage Museum and Visitor Center

Visit Sugar Land is gearing up for the holidays and inviting the community to come unwrap the holiday magic and spread cheer at their “Sweet Jamboree” one-day event at the Sugar Land Heritage Museum and Visitor Center on Saturday, December 7 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Attendees will jingle their way to this free family fun-filled event in the sweetest city in Texas. 


  • Santa Meet and Greet: Snap photos with Santa before he heads back to the North Pole. Limited tickets will be given upon arrival. A $10 donation recommended will benefit the Sugar Land Heritage Foundation.
  • Sugar Land Skeeters Fun: Get artsy and color away with Swatson-themed pages.
  • Inspiration Stage Productions: In celebration of the holidays, enjoy a featured performance from their latest production, Disney's Frozen Jr.
  • Sweetened History: Travel back in time with the George Ranch Historical Park and Fort Bend Museum, and learn how to make thaumatropes and how they became a precursor to cinematography.
  • Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra: Will delight with an exciting and engaging concert. Plus, guests will have the opportunity to touch the orchestra’s woodwind and reed instruments.
  • Elves on the Shelf: Get dazzled by this interactive elf skit performance.
  • Sessions Music: Waltz into the holiday spirit with a handful of magical musical selections.
  • Crafts & Games:  Have fun and be crafty at booths with activities such as DIY paper copters, snowflakes, Christmas card designing, letters to Santa, and frame ornaments.
  • Frios Pop: Being in the sweetest city in Texas, so why not indulge in a tasty fruit to a cream pop.

With the holidays right around the corner, shopping is on everyone’s mind, and guests will have the opportunity to shop for holiday gifts, all while enjoying the Sweet Jamboree bash. 


  • Pinot’s Palette: Sugar Land Town Square’s painting and sip studio will have decorative wood boards, paintings, ornaments, and more.
  • The Artsy Soul: Sugar Land’s pottery and art studio will have various “Artsy in a Box” gift sets.
  • The Rustic Brush: Will be offering guests a wide range of custom wood signs. 
  • My Wittle Munchkin: Shop handpicked items ranging from hair accessories to clothing from this local children’s boutique shop located in Sugar Land.
