Riverbend Construction Road Closures

Update August 19

  • Due to inclement weather, this project is delayed and will be completed around Sept. 3.

The intersection of Canadian River Dr. and Riverbend Crossing will be under construction until further notice for the installation of an underground storm sewer pipe, modifications of the existing inlets and installation of new inlets. There will be lane closures during construction and the contractor will have a flagger directing traffic while construction is occurring. The lane highlighted in the photo below will be closed about a week beginning August 18.

After this intersection is complete, construction will continue to Lexington and go east towards Dulles Ave.

Residents are asked to be mindful of work crews, expect traffic delays, and when possible, avoid the area to prevent traffic congestion. Visit its.sugarlandtx.gov for more information on Sugar Land travel time data.CDR1902 Map Phase 1
