Do I need to speak during the public hearings?

No, you are not required to speak or provide comments during the public hearings. 

However, if you would like to provide input and do not wish to speak during the public hearing, you can still submit written comments ahead of the meeting. A staff member will read the comments into the record during the public hearing.
