Reporting Lost & Found Pets
- Report a Lost/Found Pet - Animal Services takes reports of lost and found animals. Pictures of the animal are always helpful and much appreciated especially with mixed breeds.
- File a report with other agencies in the area and include a color picture if possible.
- Please take found pets to a local vet or Animal Services to have it scanned for a microchip.
- Inquire about posting flyers at local pet supply stores, vet clinics, grocery stores, and neighborhood communication boards. Signage may not be placed in the public right-of-way or on any traffic sign.
- Social media services such as Facebook and Nextdoor can also be helpful in locating a pet or pet owner.
- Check or post on Craigslist.com, Petfinder.com, FidoFinder.com, TabbyTracker.com and local papers.
- Contact your Home Owners Association. Many have an email database, and may be able to send the information out to your neighbors.
