Municipal Pool at City Park

The Municipal Pool at City Park is 25 yards long and ranges from 3-12 feet in depth. The pool has two 1-meter diving boards. Originally built in 1967, The Municipal Pool is home to the Sugar Land Sharks swim team.

2022 Pool Season

Pool Season at the Municipal Pool begins Memorial Day weekend and lasts through Labor Day weekend.
The Municipal Pool is closed on Mondays for maintenance, except on Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Weekend Operations (Aug. 13-28)

Sat & Sun
11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
 
Labor Day Weekend (Sept. 3-5)

Sat-Mon
11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
 

Pool Fees*

We have 3 pool pass options, so you can determine how often you plan on heading to the pool! 
All options allow for payment with either cash or credit card. Pool entry is free for children under 3 years of age. 
 
Annual Passes and Punch Passes may be purchased at the Imperial Park Recreation Center (IPRC). IPRC operating hours are Mon-Fri 8 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sat 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
 
Annual Pool Pass (unlimited usage for one summer) 

Residents: Ages 3 years & up: $10 per pass
Non-Residents: Ages 3 years & up: $20 per pass

Punch Pass (4 visits/punches)

Residents:
Ages 3-12 years: $6 per pass
Ages 13+ years: $12 per pass

Non-Residents: 
Ages 3-12 years: $8 per pass
Ages 13+ years: $16 per pass

Daily Pass (pay at the gate)

Residents:
Ages 3-12 years: $1.50 per day
Ages 13 years & up: $3.00 per day

Non-Residents:
Ages 3-12 years: $2.00 per day
Ages 13 years & up: $4.00 per day
