"Yesterday evening, four suspects charged with Aggravated Robbery of a CVS near Greatwood, assaulted our Jailer and escaped from the Detention Center. Within minutes, our Officers and multiple agencies responded to the search. In less than an hour and a half, all four suspects were located and recaptured. For that reason, I would like to thank the Houston Police Department, Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, Rosenberg Police, Missouri City Police, DPS and the U.S. Marshals, and several other law enforcement agencies, for their collaborative efforts in recapturing the suspects.

Thankfully, our Jailer is recovering at home with his family.

The incident is, currently, under criminal and administrative review. As always, when incidents like this occur, we review processes and procedures.

All four suspects remain in custody at the Fort Bend County Jail.
