US59 Closure Canceled - TxDOT canceled this weekend’s planned closure of the northbound lanes of U.S. 59 near Williams Trace due to weather.

Update May 3, 2019
The TxDOT closure of the northbound lanes of US 59 (near Sugar Lakes/ Williams Trace) scheduled for Friday, May 3 has been postponed.
Weather dependent, the closure will now take place on Friday, May 10 at 9 p.m. through Monday, May 12 at 5 a.m. (lanes could open earlier should work be completed ahead of schedule). Northbound traffic will exit US 59 at the Sugar Lakes/Williams Trace exit and re-enter before the intersection of Sugar Lakes/Williams Trace
This work will allow repairs needed on the bridge following recent emergency repairs which were temporary.
