Neighborhood Sweeps

Various neighborhoods throughout the City are reaching an age at which regular home maintenance is crucial in order to maintain residential property values and resident's quality of life. Detailed inspections of subdivisions have begun in order to better address property maintenance issues.

What is a Neighborhood Sweep?

During a sweep, code enforcement inspectors will work in pairs and walk along sidewalks down each street of the subdivision documenting violations of adopted City codes that are enforced throughout the City at residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Inspections are limited to portions of the property that are visible from the public right-of-way.
