Pre-Qualification Presentation Process

The City of Sugar Land Engineering Department holds a Pre-Qualification Presentation meetings bi-monthly to allow design professional services consultants the opportunity to present their qualifications to city staff. The meeting is comprised of Project Managers, Inspectors, Directors, and Planners.

Once the consultant completes the presentation they are then able to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) through our automated process. The SOQ’s are held in the Engineering Department electronic library for three (3) years. The library submittals are then able to be used by all staff for professional services projects less than $250K.
