As a recipient of federal funds, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is committed to ensuring that funds passed through to subrecipients are not used in a discriminatory manner, all American with Disabilities Act of 1992 (ADA) requirements are met, and that subrecipients are eligible to receive funds.
Subrecipients include all entities that receive federal aid, such as: Local Governments, Metropolitan Planning Organizations, and Contractors and Consultants. The City of Sugar Land, as a Local Government, is considered a subrecipient.
