Lieutenant Adam Cempa began his law enforcement career in 1996, bringing with him a wealth of experience when he joined the Sugar Land Police Department in 2013. Starting as a patrol officer, he quickly demonstrated leadership and dedication to service. In 2016, he was promoted to Sergeant and served in patrol for three years before taking on the role of Special Operations Sergeant in 2020, where he coordinated police security for major city events, including operations at the Smart Financial Centre and Constellation Field. In January 2024, he was selected to serve as a Sergeant in the Internal Affairs Division, handling investigations into officer conduct and upholding the department’s integrity. In October 2025, Adam was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant, where he is currently assigned to the patrol division.

Officer Gary Reid

Gary Reid is originally from Buffalo, NY and started his law enforcement career with the U.S. Navy in 2004 as a Master at Arms. He was then hired by the Village of Depew, NY Police Department in 2009. In 2012, he was hired by the City of Sugar Land Police Department where he served the citizens of Sugar Land on Patrol. Officer Reid is instructor certified and was also tasked as a Field Training Officer with the Sugar Land Police Department

He spends most of his free time with his family and friends. Gary Reid enjoys watching sports and staying up to date with current events.
