Lt. Marty Morales

Lt. Marty Morales is a Sugar Land native. Born and raised in Sugar Land, Morales has served as a law enforcement officer for 27 years —19 with the Sugar Land Police Department. Before joining the SLPD, Morales was a Deputy for Harris County Precinct 5 and a Campus and K-9 Officer for Fort Bend ISD. In 2006, Lt. Morales joined the Sugar Land Police Department as a Patrol Officer and Field Training Officer. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2010 and was recognized by Sugar Land City Council for the apprehension of a bank robbery suspect. Lt. Morales earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and Political Science at Stephen F. Austin University and graduated from Kempner High School in Sugar Land.

Currently, Lt. Morales is the Day Shift Patrol, Beat 2 Manager and oversees, mentors and manages new officers and newly promoted sergeants. He also works closely with First Colony Mall and Towne Square to ensure community safety. Lt. Morales assists with big city events and special events in Sugar Land.

Sgt. Eric Pino

Sergeant Eric Pino was born in Englewood, Colorado. He attended the Gus George Law Enforcement Academy class #16 alongside his brother. He excelled during his time at the academy, serving as the class president and graduating in the top 5% in June 2001. Sgt. Pino began his career with the Sugar Land Police Department in January 2002 and was promoted to Sergeant in November 2009. For about 18 years, he was the team leader for the East Fort Bend Crisis Negotiating team. His brother holds the rank of Sergeant within the Lamar Consolidated ISD Police department, while his father retires as a detective from the City of Englewood, Colorado Police Department. Additionally, his sister works as a court reporter for Fort Bend County. Sergeant E. Pino is the proud father of Caitlin, his 10-year-old daughter, and the uncle to three nieces and a nephew.
