[ARCHIVED] Sugar Land Sweetens the Scene with Talyard by Becoming Official Craft Beer Destination

TalyardSweet

Sugar Land, TX – Visit Sugar Land and the Sugar Land Parks and Recreation Department partnered with three local breweries to host a series of Brew City Launch Parties throughout August and September.

The events served as community celebrations of the city’s membership into the Brew City Program and an introduction of the community to Sugar Land’s newest addition, the Talyard Brewing Co.

Since joining the Brew City, Texas Program in March 2024, Sugar Land has evolved from an Emerging Brewscape to a Craft Beer Destination, culminating in the grand opening of its first brewery, the Talyard Brewing Co.

Sugar Land is more than just a sweet name; it’s a vibrant community where families, fun and craft beer converge. Enjoy serene parks, connect with diverse communities, and savor local flavors as carefully crafted as the cityh’s exceptional brews.

Recognized as an Official Brew City by the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, Sugar Land welcomes visitors to discover why everything is sweeter in Sugar Land.

The city appreciates Texas Leaguer Brewing Company, Saint Arnold Brewing Company and Talyard Brewing Co. for hosting exciting launch parties. Through collaborative marketing, education and outreach efforts with the Brew City, Texas program, Sugar Land is committed to raising the bar for craft beer excellence and welcoming visitors to experience the best Sugar Land has to offer.

To keep the excitement going while sample the local selection of brews, head on out to the next Parks Event Series -- Yappy Hour – scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 24, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Pawm Spring Dog Park within Sugar Land Memorial Park, 15300 University Blvd.  The evening of fun at the Dog Park will feature food and beverage vendors, dog-friendly activities and live music. Bring furry friends for a special treat, and help activate the space while welcoming new visitors.
