[ARCHIVED] Sugar Land Civic Arts Division Presents Summer of Sound Jazz Night

OCP crowd

Sugar Land, TX – The Sugar Land Civic Arts Division has scheduled a Jazz Night for the third week of its Summer of Sound concert series.  Actual Proof will perform during the event, which is set for June 15, from 7-10 p.m., at Oyster Creek Park, 4033 Highway 6.

Actual Proof is a vibrant supergroup merging jazz and hip-hop and features independent artists MBK, ΛΣE, Maxx and Yung Punk. Born out of chance meetings during local jam sessions, the group's genesis was spontaneous, with members connecting through mutual musical appreciation and beginning regular collaborations.

These sessions naturally solidified into the official establishment of Actual Proof.

Emphasizing authenticity and self-expression, Actual Proof portrays their commitment through genuine emotions in their performances. The group assures listeners of their sincerity and says, "This is who we are, and we're going to show it to you the best way we know how."

The name Actual Proof reflects their belief that their music genuinely represents themselves, leaving no doubt about their authenticity to the audience.

Actual Proof's music is a fusion of high energy, characterized by the diverse influences of its members. Each artist is an independent musician working on original projects and collaborating with Houston's local artists when not performing together as Actual Proof. The result is a delicious blend of musical styles and genuine artistic expression.

They will bring a unique blend of jazz and hip-hop to the Summer of Sound stage. Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and picnic baskets to enjoy a relaxing evening of music under the stars.

For the best parking experience, park at Lost Creek Park, 3703 Lost Creek Blvd., and  walk to Oyster Creek. Limited parking at Oyster Creek will fill up fast.
