[ARCHIVED] Sugar Land Municipal Court to Celebrate Love at the First Free Wedding Event This Valentine’s Day

Sugar Land, TX —The Sugar Land Municipal Court is excited to announce a special Valentine’s Day event: free wedding ceremonies on Friday, February 14, 2025. Judge Matthew Montes will officiate weddings throughout the day to help couples commemorate their love on this most romantic occasion.

Whether you’re planning to tie the knot for the first time or renew your vows, this is the perfect opportunity to celebrate your love story in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Couples are invited to bring their family and friends to witness their special moment. 

Event Details:

  • Date: Friday, February 14, 2025
  • Time: 11:00AM-4:00PM
  • Location: Sugar Land Municipal Court,1200 Highway 6 S, Sugar Land, TX 77479

Couples wishing to join us must meet the following requirements and:

1. Obtain a valid Texas marriage license at least 72 hours prior to the ceremony. (Please note that the 72-hour waiting period may be waived under certain circumstances.)

2. Present the marriage license on the day of the ceremony.

3. RSVP in advance by registering at the link https://calendly.com/municipalcourtsugarlandtx-wyhp/20min

Registration is limited to 15 couples, and walk-ins are not permitted.
