Water Bill Payment Options
Automatic Bank Draft Payments
A no cost, convenient way to pay your water bill each month. You will still receive your monthly bill so you can monitor your water usage.
Setup Automatic Bank Draft Payments
- Download and complete the application form then:
- Email to treasury@sugarlandtx.gov or;
- mail to: P.O. Box 5029 Sugar Land, TX 77487 or;
- Drop-off the completed form at City Hall.
How to Cancel Automatic Bank Draft Payments
- Fill out and submit a cancellation form online.

Are you currently enrolled in Credit Card auto pay?Signing up for automatic bank draft payments does not unenroll you from credit card autopay. If you are currently enrolled in credit card autopay, you must log into your account and unenroll in credit card auto pay. |

Automatic Debit or Credit Card payments
A no-cost, convenient way to automatically pay your water bill each month. You will also be able to view your monthly bills starting from the time you create an online account.
- Login to or create an account on the online payment system
- You'll want to have your water bill handy for quicker setup
- One your account has been setup, click on the "Auto Pay" link and follow directions

Are you currently enrolled in Automatic Bank Draft?Signing up for automatic credit or debit card payments does not unenroll you from automatic bank draft. If you are currently enrolled in automatic bank draft, you must complete and submit a cancel bank draft form to unenroll. |
To find your water bill account number, you can refer to your latest water bill statement. The account number is usually located on the top portion of the bill. If you are unable to locate your account number on your bill, you can contact the Treasury Department at 281-275-2750 or treasury@sugarlandtx.gov for assistance.
