Sugar Land Municipal Court will be migrating to a new case management system from Thursday, January 27, 2022 through February 1, 2022. During this time our online and phone payment systems will be temporarily unavailable.
There will be no court dockets the week of January 24th and January 31st due to the implementation of the new case management system. We will resume our normal court dockets on Monday, February 7, 2022.
Sugar Land Municipal Court has resumed in-person jury proceedings at the Sugar Land City Hall Annex. (See Jury Trials for more information.)
All other court hearings are being conducted virtually using the Zoom application. (See Virtual Court Process for more information.)
The Sugar Land Municipal Court is a Court of Record, handling cases involving Class C misdemeanors. Generally, such cases are punishable by fine only.
