Sugar Land Municipal Court offers E-File for attorneys. To obtain access to the E-File system, please submit a request here. Upon receipt of your registration form, the court will send you a request to register through this system.
Once you have access, you may view cases or dockets, and file letters of representation or motions for existing cases you represent. You may also view the status of cases through this system. Access the online portal.
Our online court record search system can assist you in accessing Municipal Court records for information such as upcoming dockets, upcoming court dates, final case dispositions, or fines and fees due. Please note: Any citations with a final disposition of 5 years old or older are no longer available.
It may take 1-3 business days from the date a ticket was issued for information to appear online.

Our online payment portal is available for a variety of payment methods.
Driver's Safety Course: If eligible, you may request a driver's safety course online. For details regarding eligibility, please visit our Driver's Safety Course page.
Deferred Disposition: If eligible, your citation may be able to request a deferred disposition. For details regarding eligibility, please visit our Deferred Disposition page.
30-Day Extension Request: A 30-day extension request (completed online) allows you to pay a partial payment of $100 upfront and the remaining balance will be due in 30 days. Request a 30-day extension through our payment portal. Please note: certain violations or status types may not be eligible for a 30-day extension.
Pay in Full: To pay your full citation online click here. Please note: if you are under the age of 17 years of age at the time you received the citation, you will not be eligible to pay your citation online.
Payment Plan: If you are already set up on an existing payment plan, you may make your partial payments online. If you are not set up on a monthly payment plan, please review our payment plan page.
Please note: payments made through the online payment portal are subject to additional fees. There is an online convenience fee ranging from $4.00 to $5.50 accessed for each payment transaction.
Sugar Land Municipal Court offers Virtual Court Appearances. Virtual Court Appearances allow defendants to dispose of eligible cases via a video conference with the judge through the use of Zoom either on your computer or mobile device.
