Leisure - Martial Arts
Judo
Quality instruction on the art of Judo and self-defense. Students will be in a safe environment and will learn attacks, defenses and falls.
Location: Imperial Park Recreation Center
Days/Times: Sat 2:30-4:30 p.m.
Ages: 4 years and older
Cost: $50 per session (3 month session)
Students must register with United States Judo Association and pay separate associated fees.
*Annual facility usage card required. $50/residents and $191/non-residents.

Tae Kwon Do
This class will enhance each participant’s self-esteem, build confidence, develop discipline, teach self-defense and strengthen one’s mind and body.
Location: Eldridge Park Community Center
Days/Times: Tues & Thurs at 5-6 p.m. and 6-7 p.m.
Ages: 5 years and older
Cost: Resident $40; Non-Resident $50
$35 uniform fee paid to instructor

The Wild School
Discover the Wild School: Where children and parents immerse in outdoor adventures that spark curiosity. Our programs counteract the challenges of modern indoor lifestyles by encouraging exploration, creativity, and joyful learning in every season. See you outside!
Location: Cullinan Park (12414 Hwy 6, Sugar Land 77498)
Dates/Times: Fridays from Jan. 16 - May 1 (9-10:15 a.m.); No class on Friday March 20
Cost: Drop-In $24/class, Full Semester (15 weeks) $324 for Residents; Drop-In $30/class, Full Semester (15 weeks) $405 for Non-Residents
Ages*: 1.5-5 years
*Each child must be accompanied by a parent/caregiver at all times.
Sports & Athletics
With multiple sports fields in Sugar Land parks, there are plenty of ways to get active!
From basketball and volleyball at the Imperial Park Recreation Center to little league baseball, soccer or softball at one of our parks, there’s definitely a great way for your child to get exercise.

Soccer Shots
Soccer Shots is designed to improve soccer skills while focusing on character development and positively impacting children. Visit soccershots.com for program times and registration!
Location: Highlands Park
Dates/Times: 9 week sessions beginning in March; Mon., Wed. and Sat. classes available; times vary by age
Cost: $198; prorated options for later registration
