Earth Day Celebration 2026

In honor of Earth Day, the City of Sugar Land, with support from Keep Sugar Land Beautiful (KSLB), invites members of the community to join them for a day of environmental education, fun, and sustainability at their Earth Day Celebration. This family-friendly event will feature music, engaging activities, environmental education, recycling opportunities and games for all attendees.

Event Highlights

The event is free to attend, and all are welcome to join in on the festivities. Whether you're interested in learning more about sustainability, enjoying some music, or simply spending time with friends and family, the Earth Day Celebration will be an exciting and educational experience for all. Parking  is free and available in the Texas garage adjacent to City Hall.

  • Interactive Activities: Engage in hands-on activities for all ages that promote eco-friendly habits and raise awareness about environmental issues.
  • Recycling Opportunities: Bring your recyclable materials and textiles to be properly disposed of, and learn practical tips on how to reduce, reuse, and recycle effectively.

  • Education Opportunities: Learn how to compost, use a rain barrel.
  • Games:Fun for all ages with games that teach about conservation and environmental impact.
  • City Services:Multiple departments from the City will educate on various topics, such as water conservation, stormwater management, and solid waste.
  • Art Display: Local students will produce art as it relates to the environment and conservation. Art will be displayed at the event.
