Solid Waste Operator's License application — Commercial solid waste operators collecting, transporting, or disposing of commercial solid waste or temporary construction and demolition waste must obtain a license from the City.
Recyclable Material Operator's License application — Recyclable materials operators collecting, transporting, or disposing of recyclable material from commercial property must obtain a license from the City.

City Council granted an exclusive franchise and contract to BFI Waste Services of Texas, L.P. (Republic Services) for the collection and disposal of solid waste from commercial properties. This exclusive franchise also includes the collection and disposal of residential and commercial construction and demolition debris for projects that exceed 30 days. All commercial customers are required to utilize solid waste service from Republic Services.
